Today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you. Times are tough and many of us are away from loved ones. But I wasn't going to let that stop me from taking and scrapbooking pictures with my boyfriend!
For these photos, we decided to copy a cute meme I found on r/wholesomememes that features two cute geckos and the subject of facetime-ing. I decided to title the layout "See the good in all things" as even though we are far away from each other, we are so lucky to be able to have video calls as often as we like.
For this layout, I mostly used products from the May 2019 Hip Kit Club main and pocket life kits. I used the stamp set included to create my own die cuts. I also did a lot of fussy cutting from the patterned papers included in the kit to make more die cuts.
For the numbers on the layout (these represent the number of months we've been dating) I pulled out some alphabet stickers from an old Citrus Twist Life Crafted Kit. I love how they add a subtle touch.
Since my layout was looking a little flat, I decided to pop up some of the hashtag phrases on foam to give the layout a bit more dimension.
